With over 7 years of experience in the field, Amol previously founded Orange Odyssey, where he became a leading figure in curating immersive heritage walks and cultural tours in Nagpur.​

My Story
I’m Amol—an architect, urban planner, and heritage enthusiast with a deep love for uncovering and sharing the stories hidden within our built environment. My academic journey began with a B.Arch from the Institute of Design Education & Architectural Studies (IDEAS), Nagpur University, followed by an M.Tech in Urban Planning from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur. These experiences shaped my understanding of design, urban spaces, and the interplay between history and modern development.

My passion for heritage took root in 2013, during my first encounter with Nagpur’s historical treasures. This sparked a personal mission to bring the city’s rich history to life. By 2018, I turned this passion into action, pioneering heritage walks as a regular weekend activity in Nagpur. It has been incredibly fulfilling to see the community reconnect with the city’s architectural gems and historical narratives.

As the founder of Gondwana Collective, I’m driven by a vision to create meaningful cultural and heritage experiences. Through curated walks, workshops, and tours, I aim to bridge the past and present, fostering a sense of pride and belonging among people in Central India.

Beyond Gondwana Collective, I share my knowledge as a faculty member at an architecture college, nurturing the next generation of architects. I also lead architectural practice at TCP Studio, where I explore creative and innovative design solutions, blending my love for architecture with practical execution.
​
Previously, I founded Orange Odyssey, which served as the cornerstone for my journey in cultural engagement. Beyond building the brand that Orange Odyssey became, I dedicated myself to curating experiences that connected people with history and culture. Over the years, this work helped me refine my ability to design experiences that are not only authentic and thoughtful but also deeply resonant and memorable.

For me, every project is personal. From meticulous planning to heartfelt execution, I strive to create connections that leave a lasting impact. Gondwana Collective is my way of continuing to celebrate and share the timeless narratives of our region, inviting others to join in cherishing our shared heritage.
